You can walk to North Adelaide and the swimming centre.  Over the road (on Prospect Road) there is a fruit and veg, butcher/chicken speciality shop, baker, service station and restaurants.  All are within a 5 minute walk. St Helen's park is less than a 5 minute walk (check out the roses !) Children are well catered for- games, books and TV.
