Location
Port Willunga Tourist Park (formerly Beach Woods) is located on the superb Fleurieu Peninsula. Set back in a Bush land like setting, between the glorious beaches of Maslin and Port Willunga. It’s where the Sea meets the Vines........
PWTP is only 45kms south of the Adelaide CDB and airport. It is within easy reach of the seaside towns of Victor Harbor, Goolwa or the Coorong and is an ideal stopover en-route to Kangaroo Island. The park is also an excellent base from which to explore all that the Fleurieu Peninsula has to offer.
Close by you will enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches that South Australia has to offer along with spectacular scenic coastline and geologically interesting sandstone & limestone cliff faces. The beaches in this part of SA offer a wide range of aquatic activities including fishing, snorkeling, surfing or even bathing on Australia's first free beach.
We are close to the world renowned McLaren Vale wine region with its many boutique wineries and contemporary cellar doors, and the historic town of Willunga where you can visit the local farmers market or indulge yourself at one of the local world class restaurants. Other local areas of interest are the Aldinga Aquatic Reserve and Star of Greece shipwreck. Or see the whole thing from the air with a joy flight from Aldinga Airfield. Back towards Adelaide The Noarlunga Centre (10kms) or Marion Shopping Centre (25kms) offer a vast range of shops and cafes with Cinemas, Ice Rink, Bowling Alley and a direct rail link into Adelaide..
